I love the opportunity to serve the Lord at The Rock Church and walk with each of our families through their children’s early childhood years. I met the Lord when I was 13 years old and knowing HIm has made a dramatic impact on my life. I love to spend time with Him and in His Word. It is my love for Him that drives me to serve Him in Christian ministry to raise little Warriors who are also impacted to love Him and walk in an atmosphere of worship.
I married my college sweetheart in 1984 and we have 4 adult children and 4 grandchildren. While we were raising our own children, we were licensed as therapeutic foster parents and had 50 foster children in and out of our home. The chances are that anything a parent could face with their children, I have experienced! I love the wisdom of the Proverbs and believe that God gives us each other to help us grow and become closer to Him.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education with an emphasis on Elementary Education from Valley Forge University, near Philadelphia. I went to a variety of community colleges to become director qualified for large childcare centers in Colorado. I have a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in online course development from Colorado Christian University. I am working on a doctorate degree in Early Childhood Education from Northcentral University.
