I am the Pre-K teacher for the Polar Bear class. I will also be the language and reading teacher for the Lion class as well. This year will be my 4th year at CRCLC. This school year will be year # 31 for me in a Pre-K classroom! I have taught in both private as well as public schools. I have experience in almost every line of Pre-K curriculum there is and I rely on the Lord for the wisdom to combine the best parts of each into my daily teaching strategies.
My husband Fred and I moved to Colorado from Kansas City in 2015. Our oldest daughter, McKenna (26) recently moved to the area with her new husband, Jensen. Emily (20) is a current Junior and cheerleader at Colorado State. Riley (16) is now a sophomore at DCHS and is a competitive cheerleader. Our entire family is highly involved in competitive cheerleading and I also work at our cheer gym, Cheer Central Suns, in the evenings. Any free time I have, I like to spend reading, walking my basset hound Murphy, or napping with my yorkie, Bella.
I am so extremely excited about the new twist we are putting into our Pre-K curriculum this year. I can not wait to help inspire and foster a love for the Lord, language and reading with your child!
